Physiotherapy uses physical approaches to promote, maintain and restore physical, psychological and social wellbeing, taking account of variations in health status. (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, 2002)

The aim of physiotherapy is to help restore movement and function as near normal as possible when someone is affected by injury, illness or by developmental or other disabilities. Physiotherapy is the major component of CTC’s service. A patient-centred approach to wellbeing encompassing all lifestyle issues and covering every aspect of the client’s condition is taken by CTC. Comprehensive, personalised assessments and treatment plans identify the nature of the patient’s condition and address lifestyle issues such as restrictive work patterns, sleep disorders, poor dietary habits, stress factors and general fitness concerns.
