Introduction

The cost of work reled ill-health and injury
Figures produced by the Health and Safety Executive show that 36 million working days were lost in 2006/2007; 30 million to ill-health and 6 million to work place injury. Muscle and joint problems are the largest cause of work related ill-health. In addition to the obvious costs of sick pay, temporary cover, recruitment, potential legal fees and compensation, there is also the cost of low productivity, increased errors, loss of morale and the possibility of increased insurance premiums.

Reducing the cost of work related ill-health
CTC Physiotherapy has forged strong links with local business, national and international companies, where involvement is most effective during process design and implementation. CTC’s clients include: Air Products, Fujitsu and Bentley Motors.
