Direct Physiotherapy Intervention
Onsite Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy involvement onsite allows for rapid access to assessment and treatment and reduces time off work through injury or to attend hospital appointments. It also allows for ergonomic and workplace assessments to be carried out to reduce further problems and help improve communication with all parties involved.
Onsite Massage/Stress Management
As part of an employee well being programme, CTC can offer onsite, through clothes massage; a service designed to reduce stress and increase awareness of the postural strains that can build up over time and result in injury.
Offsite Physiotherapy
With 5 dedicated clinics in the north Staffordshire and Cheshire area, physiotherapy assessment a treatment can be arranged within 24 hours, significantly less than the wait for an NHS appointment. Outside this area CTC can arrange offsite treatment at a local affiliate physiotherapy clinic. Close communication is essential and CTC keep the employer fully up to date with progress.
Job Specific Functional Rehabilitation
Following injury, full rehabilitation is essential to restore normal physical function and reduce the incidence of injury reoccurrence. CTC has full gymnasium facilities and staff specifically trained in exercise and fitness to help the employee regain all aspects of physical health.
Back to work programmes
If an employee has been off work for a length of time, CTC can offer a programme specifically designed to aid the return of the employee to work safely. This will involve assessment of the work tasks and the design of an exercise based regime to allow safe return to the work environment.
Health and Wellbeing Programmes
The endorsement of general health and wellbeing within a workforce is essential in achieving a happier, more productive team. The individual is empowered to achieve a better quality of life, prevent illness and optimises their potential at work and in everyday life.
CTC is committed to promoting health and wellbeing within the workplace. This can be done via health screening, exploration of individual lifestyle and diet and exercise testing to develop an individually tailored programme.

by working with organisations to achieve an ergonomically working environment.
· Education of departmental manager, team leaders and associates emphasising short-
term and long-term solutions to poor working practices.
· Liaison with Health and Safety coaches and representatives on risk assessment tools
and management.
-
· Assessing an individual’s fitness to work and setting goals during any period ofabsence from work. General Practitioners are not able to set short term rehabilitationgoals during periods of certified absence.
· General lifestyle advice on personal fitness maintenance and dietary issues. Please be
