Combined Therapy Centres (CTC) are a progressive physiotherapy provider specialising in four distinct areas of the profession:

        ·         Core or traditional services to private patients

        ·         Corporate physiotherapy provision including ergonomics and training

        ·         Specialist services such as Biomechanics, Dietetics and Counselling

        ·         Complementary therapies such as Reiki and Indian Head Massage

This combined treatment philosophy encourages a truly patient centred approach giving access to multiple interlinked care pathways. Based in Cheshire, Staffordshire and South Manchester, CTC provides rapid access private physiotherapy assessment and treatment. Physiotherapy is considered the treatment of choice by many for a range of primarily musculoskeletal problems ranging from sports injuries to spinal dysfunction.

CTC’s professionally recognised and experienced therapists work in fully equipped comfortable clinics. These conveniently located premises offer daytime, weekend and evening appointments which ideally suit a client base that requires rapid access appointments or is unable to attend, or  unable to wait for existing NHS provision.

Alongside its core physiotherapy service, CTC have contracts with key industries offering onsite and offsite assessment, treatment, ergonomic evaluation and training.

The clinic has a long association with both local amateur and professional national sport. Currently Rick Carter, a Director, is contracted to Chelsea FC. Sports masseur and physiotherapist Mike Perry has worked with the British Olympic Cycling team. Over the past 14 years CTC have developed excellent links with General Practitioners, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons and other leading health care professionals.

The Directors of CTC have a combined 50 years of experience gained within professional sport, the NHS and the private sector. All physiotherapy staff are encouraged to specialise and excel in areas such as Acupuncture, Manipulation Exercise therapy, Rehabilitation and Biomechanics.

Other Specialist therapies include sports massage, nutrition and a full range of complementary therapy treatments. Although primarily a high quality physiotherapy practice, the gradual assimilation of many ‘holistic’ therapies into the clinic has helped to offer clients a more balanced approach to their health and well-being. Clients find that the benefit of relaxing using either a therapy such as Reiki or breathing control in Yoga complement and speed their recovery. Often, stress itself is the main facet of a client’s condition.

The clinic is constantly developing the scope of the services it provides, a recent innovation being bespoke combined exercise and nutrition programmes for clients who struggle to maintain their fitness by usual means.

All CTC’s physiotherapists are chartered and registered with the health professions council and as such must continually update and develop their skills base. All CTC’s therapists are registered and insured with their respective professional bodies. It is not surprising that all CTC’s physiotherapists are recognised by all the major insurance companies including BUPA, AXA PPP and Aviva. The team at CTC are committed to providing clients with a successful therapy experience.
