The Nantwich Show 2010
28th July 2010
CTC at the Nantwich Show 2010
It was great to see you all at the Nantwich Show on Wednesday. The day was pack with fun filled excitement, hustle and bustle and of course excellent prizes. The rain failed to dampen the spirits of the thousands who attended the show and the day was a huge success.
As one of the largest 1-day agricultural shows in the country with the largest cheese show in Europe, it was not surprising that we all had more than our fair share of cheese tasters!
A large funfair with rides exciting (and some terrifying) rides kept the younger ones entertained, while the stunt bike riders of the Bold Dog Lins FMX Team stole the show in the main yard.
Events opened at 8am and continued until 5pm with more than 170 trade stands inside the Town and Country Pavilion and Cheshire East Pavilion and a wide range of judged competitions for animals and of course cheeses.
Entertainment included show jumping, falconry displays and a hound and beagle parade, and side shows of musicians, Shetland pony displays, logging horse demonstrations and many more.
